With effect from 01st Nov 06 , In all the existing DSL residential tariffs, Cap on billing @ Rs 1200/- on extra usage charges has been introduced i.e. in DSL residential plans , no customer will be billed over and above Rs 1200/- for extra usage + rental charges.
Existing customers shall be migrated to this benefit soon
Customer's bill will be capped @ Rs 1200/- for extra usage charges + Plan rental per month but the usage will be unlimited beyond cap limit. Depending on the customer's usage, billing shall happen as per the following scenarios –
Suppose Freedom 649 has 600 MB as the free data transfer limit .
1. Customer doesn't exceeds free usage limit = Bill as low as the rental amount.
2. Customer exceeds free usage limit ( MB limit / hrs limit ) but extra usage amount is less than Rs 1200 = Rental charges + extra usage charges as per actual
3. Customer exceeds extra usage charges amount of Rs 1200 = Rental + Max Rs 1200 as extra usage charges.
In no situation bill shall exceed the rental charges + Rs 1200
In addition to the rental + extra usage charges , customer needs to pay for the modem rental ( wherever applicable) , service tax etc.

DSL Combo - DSL Combo 250 , Turbo 444 Plus , Flexi 499 , Speed 500 Plus , Freedom 649 , DSL Combo 800 , Freedom Combo
DSL Top Ups - Delight 99 , Delight 256 , Turbo 256 , Speed 500 , Speed 1000
